Tentative May AMO Seminar Schedule

PCAB has announced the tentative AMO Seminar Schedule for May 2013. One AMO seminar is provisionally slated for May 23-24 hosted by PICE Makati Chapter and another for 30-31 May to be hosted by Cebu Contractors Association. The tentative date details are provisionally included in the PCA Metro Calendar at http://pcametro.ph/calendar/.

The venues are still uncertain as the dates are provisional at this stage. These associations must be directly contacted and their further particulars, including contact details are contained in the PCA Metro Calendar. PCAB has announced the April 2013 AMO Seminar Schedule. One AMO seminar is slated for April on April 20-21 in Quezon City hosted by NACAP (National Constructors Association of the Philippines). The venue for the March 14-15 AMO seminar is at Rembrandt Hotel, Tomas Morato Ave., Quezon City. The hosting organization, NACAP (National Constructors Association of the Philippines), must be directly contacted for more details. PCAB has ruled that contractors do not need to strictly follow the Early License Renewal Schedule. Contractor may file for early renewal even if the last digit of their licenses to do not match the required digit as set in the Early License Renewal Schedule. Section 34 of RA 4566 provides that “Should any contractor not licensed by the Board engage on attempt to engage in the business of contracting, the Board shall have the right to institute the proper action in court and secure a writ of injunction without bond, restraining the said contractor”. Section 33 makes it the “the duty of all duly constituted law enforcement officers of the national, provincial, city and municipal government or any political subdivisions thereof, to enforce the provisions of this Act”. LICENSE NOW OR HAVE YOUR BUSINESS CLOSED BY PCAB INJUNCTION.

Licensed Contractor may only accept subcontracts from other licensed contractors. This is a condition contained on the reverse side every PCAB license. Failure to comply may result in suspension or revocation of your license.
